With Hands Raised

I come on my knees,

to lay down before You...

Bringing all that I am,

longing only to know You...

This is my passion...

This is my desire...

This is what I yearn for....

-to know Jesus Christ.

-to fellowship with my Creator.

-to sit at the feet of the one who sacrificed His own life to save mine.

He saved this wretched sinner. He bore the sins of the world. He willingly became sin. He denied Himself and took up the cross that His Father commanded Him to carry. He gave up His throne. He felt pain. He became man... He lived in this world... yet lived blameless... without sin.

I pray that my life reflects Jesus Christ. I pray that when others see me, they see Jesus.... look past me... see my heart... one that is consumed with love. A love that is so selfless, is so unconditional... A love that can only come from God.

I have been called to serve God and others. I have been called to love unconditionally. I have been called to worship without shame. I do it all for my Audience of One. I do it all for Jesus Christ.
